So you are headed to Roca for some awesome fishing, but what can you expect? For starters, Corbetena is a rock island that rises about 50 feet above the water level.
This amazing structure is only 35 miles from Marina Vallarta and often holds all sorts of pelagic fish species. In the old days Corbetena was home to Cow Tuna, but rarely do they show there today.
That being said, there is quite often tuna to 100 or even 150 lbs. There is also black and blue marlin, sailfish, dorado, grouper, pargo and other species passing to feed at the structure that is home to countless species of small baitfish.
